Wharehouse

Aviation Regulations and applicable Standards (i.e. EN 9120) require spare parts, equipment, tools and various materials should be stored in dedicated environments.

The storage conditions are mandatory in order to guarantee a correct preservation of materials. Heron Air, thanks to its experience in this field, is able to provide for the proper storage following all the necessary rules such as:

  • Rooms always clean, ventilated and kept at a stable temperature and dry, in order to minimize the effects of condensation. In many cases, the producer can specify temperature and degree of humidity for the details to be stored. In order to maintain these conditions inside of a specified range, in Heron Air managed by warehouses are used instruments for the measurement of temperature and humidity; responsibility of Heron experts is to control these parameters at regular intervals if not managed in an automatic manner by special environmental software.
  • The components, during the storage period, will be kept packed with protective material in order to prevent the irreversible phenomenon of corrosion. The flammable materials shall be stored in separate and identified rooms. All materials subject to expiration or calendar checks, will be monitored by dedicated staff.
  • Heron Air staff is also responsible for sending to inspection those materials which, at expiry calendar date, require a control or revision.
